Special Needs Trusts
Special needs trusts are complex legal documents that many of us parents of adults with disabilities will need to have drawn up at some time. PADCO member Kevne Sharpe, who is in the financial planning field, has shared the names of some law firms that she is aware of that creates these documents. There are many more firms that do this and this list is in no way any recommendation whatsoever of these firms by PADCO or any of our members. but rather this is meant to be a starting point for further research on your part. Many firms are doing work with clients remotely so location may not be as important as pre-pandemic.
